You’re a perfectly good candidate. The part about majors … is that for some other school because UR doesn’t admit to majors, just to the school.

According to the IPEDS data, your SAT score are a bit on the low side for UR. UR’s 25th-75th percentiles in math for accepted students are 630-730. CR percentiles are 600-690.

My D was a duo psych-stat major and kind of kicked herself that she didn’t do health and society at UR. No problem - her UR major got her into some top programs for an MPH. Being a dude may be an advantage - at her MPH graduation about 75% of the graduates were women.

I think you have a good chance. Like someone else said, your sat scores are a bit low, but when they admit students, thy look at more than sat scores. My sat scores were low (honestly, they were lower than yours) and I’m now a freshman here.
Just make sure you show interest in the school. Go visit, have an interview, and keep in contact with the school throughout the application process.
Also when you are admitted to the school, you are not entering your major. You don’t declare your major until you junior or sophomore year.

Public health/pre-med is an awesome combination. (I’m doing public health/pre-pharmacy, so its very similar) :)

Good Luck, and if you have any questions, shoot me a message.
