Chance me please? RD

Any input is helpful!!

GPA: 4.0 (uw), we don't do weighted so I'm not sure about that.

Class Rank: 1 (out of 430ish)

ACT: 31 (I think this is the aspect I am most nervous about)

Main activities:
Cross Country (two-time captain, lettered all four years)
Track (Two-time captain, lettered all years thus far, all-conference athlete)
Keyclub (Vice-president 2011-2012, President 2012-2013, over 150 hours of
community service)
Local hospital NICU/palliative care volunteer w/ over 65 hours of service
(and various others, but those are the biggies)

Job: works at a hardware store full time during the summer and around 15 hours/week
during school since early 2011.

Past AP Classes: APUSH, AP Bio, AP Lang, AP Euro (all 5's thus far except for AP Euro, which was a 3).

Current AP Classes: AP Lit, AP Calc BC, AP Psych. The only other AP classes offered at my school are AP Calc AB, AP Gov, and AP World

Other Classes: It's easier just to tell you I have taken the highest level classes offered for every subject all four years of high school (sorry that sounds extremely obnoxious, but it's true!)

Letters of Rec: Quite nice and very comprehensive

Other: I am a first generation college student

I'm not sure if I missed anything big... please let me know what you think, it would mean a lot!

Don’t be nervous about your ACT score; if the internet is to be believed (well…), you are in the middle 50% of enrolled students. Obviously, you’d like to be in the top 25% column, but I am personally of the belief that the GPA and transcript matter more than test-scores in highly selective admissions, so the test-scores are not very important as long as you aren’t in the bottom 25% (though Tufts may view this differently than I do).
Speaking of which, your GPA and transcript seem to be impeccable.
Therefore, I would say that you’re fine, academically. Keep in mind, though, that Tufts and other schools like it have plenty of applicants who are qualified, academically. Therefore, I’d say the deciding factor will be character: recs, essays, EC’s, work experience. This is much more difficult for us internet people to judge than the cold, hard statistics, so keep in mind that any opinions you get here are most likely not reflective of the Tufts admissions council.
