Hi, I'm in my junior year and lately I've been freaking out about if I'm going to get accepted into my top schools in Florida. I even lose sleep over it.
I am a FL resident.

My Cumulative Weighted GPA is 4.0 and my Cumulative Un-weighted GPA 3.2143, according to my high school's system where un-weighted is out of 4 and you get one point for honors and two for AP for weighted. Both should be going up this semester because I'll be getting 4 As and 3 Bs.
This year I took 3 AP classes and next yr I'm taking 3 more APs. I also took 4 years of Spanish, as well as mostly honors classes.

I am in NHS, English HS, and Spanish HS. I am president of S.A.D.D. and might be an officer in Best Buddies next year. I am also part of the Teen Advisory Board in my community.

On the Jan SAT I got 1710 and on the April ACT, I got a 26. I'm taking both June tests and my scores should go up.

I'm applying for summer and I plan on applying as early as possible.

Thanks so much!
Emily

You are a shoe in. Don’t lose sleep. Apply in mid August even though they won’t start accepting until mid September. Your rigor of classes, NHS and SAT/ACT scores are the key to being accepted and you have all that. Good Luck! :~)

What alongwait said. You’ll get into fall, let alone summer.

Go Knights!!

You will definitely get in. I got in with a 28 ACT and 3.9 GPA. No references either, which is interesting.

Thanks for making me feel better! My stats have gone up. I got a 28 on the June ACT with an 11 on writing. I have to take it one more time to get up to a 29 for Bright Future. I just have to decide if I want to take it again with writing in September to apply to colleges with or settle with my 28 for applications and just take it sometime before graduation.
Unfortunately, my SAT stayed the exact same, so I’m done with that.
My GPA went up because I got 5 As and 2 B pluses this semester. I’m now:
Class Ranking: 216 out of 720
Cumulative GPA: 3.28
Academic Core GPA: 3.4459
Weighted Cumul. GPA: 4.1667
