I am going to major in Public Relations, which shouldn’t be too hard of a major to get accepted. I live in Sacramento California, and the two schools I am applying to for PR is SDSU and SJSU.
CSU GPA: 3.3
SAT (Critical Reading + Math ONLY): 1200
Attended a competitive high school. Had three D’s in Sophomore year, but made it all up in Summer and Junior Year so those aren’t in the GPA.
Extracurricular:
-Manager/Editor of a National NFL Blog: BloggingDirty.com (job and I get paid)
Your EI (eligiblity index) is 3840 based on posted Stats. For SJSU, you should be fine, threshold was 3750. See EI thresholds from this year. For SDSU, you need around a 4000+ EI to have a good chance at an acceptance. Their public relations major had about a 25% acceptance rate last year.

SJSU: Match
SDSU: Low Reach
Hi there!
I would say that you have a better chance at SJSU, and a slight reach at SDSU!
Best of luck to you and the college search!
Chance me back please?

The others above are right SDSU is unlikely, SJSU, likely.
Take a look at Chico and Sonoma - other good programs in N Cal.
