Chance me Please. So worried.. Need to get into CSU

<p>Hi guys, Im new to the forum
and hoping to contribute!
But as of right now im deeply worried about my gpa/SAT</p>

<p>I want to goto CSULB or CSUP or CSUF at the very least as my freshman year in college
I dont think i can stand going to a community College... I want to experience full college and University. I dont want to feel like another 2 years or so of High school at a community college...</p>

<p>I am a Junior right now In high school.
Its almost end of my Junior year. In a month
I have a gpa: 2.6 .
My freshman year i got a Gpa of 2.7
my sophmore year i got 2.4 as CUMULATIVE with my freshman year.
After I started trying hard and I managed to get 3.1 GPA first semester of my junior year with 2 AP classes. AP ENGLISH AND AP PSYCHOLOGY.
The cumulative came out as 2.6 ..
Right now in 2nd semester . I currently have 1 A 5 Cs.. With my 2 AP classes they count as 2 B's ?
I seriously need to bring it up and I dropped alot this semester due to alot of stress..</p>

<p>My SAT is
490 Reading 540 Math 500 Writing
for a total of 1530 ...
Im am taking another SAT this june and hoping to do better.</p>

<p>I am really worried now that I just ruined my chances..
GPA : 2.6 SAT: 1530.
And all the recession and bad economy making my chances worse.</p>

<p>Do I even have a chance at CSU's ?
Im planning to major in Fine Arts</p>

<p>Your GPA is going to hurt you at all of the CSUs and your SAT scores are on the low side for most CSU campuses as well. You should be able to get into CSU Dominguez Hills, CSU Los Angeles and maybe CSU Bakersfield.</p>

but
If I manage to get to a 3.0 Will i be ableto get into UCR?
And im not sure what SAT II to take ? Im taking Korean for sure.
but I dont know what other I can take. My math is high enough for UC level SAT II.</p>

<p>Can I use my senior year also to get my GPA up?</p>
