<p>So i messed up my freshman yr, which really throws my GPA (3.3) off. I was hoping schools would realize that my grades have gone ONLY up, but my SATs aren't great either. I've been deferred from Fairfield, Scranton, Catholic. I was expecting Fairfield, but not Scranton or Catholic.
Applied: Scranton, St Joe's, Catholic, Fairfield, Udel, Marist, Quinnipiac
SATS- 1700
GPA - 3.3
all regular classes, softball 2 yrs, basketball 2 yrs, lots and lots of volunteering only at a few places i'm pretty dedicated, good reccs., great essay</p>

<p>Im sorry, I dont know know nay of those schools.</p>

<p>However, colleges do look at the fact that your grades increased from Freshman onwards. It shows maturity. </p>

<p>Also, compared to the rest of the country (don’t even care about college) your SAT’s aren’t horrible.</p>

<p>I would say apply to community college and after two years transfer??</p>

<p>Quinnipiac is probaly a safe bet. In the end you will probaly get into Fairfield.</p>
