Chance Me please! Stanford EA for Bioengineering

I’m applying for Stanford EA and I’m basically ready to submit my app. I know the outlook is bleak for anyone applying for Stanford unless they cured cancer or something, so yeah let’s be real with that grain of salt. The curiosity was overpowering so I gave in to asking. What are my chances?

I was very honest and true to myself in the essays, so that’s that I guess. Stanford is always a reach as they say. It’s definitely not the only college I’m applying to lol. What say you based on my stats? Thanks for any feedback!

@Melanne1322 I think you have good chances. There are no weaknesses in your profile that would hurt you, it is quite strong actually. Of course Stanford is a lottery so god help us haha. Have you taken a second subject test? Are you being recruited for swimming?

I am also applying to Stanford REA for bioengineering. mind chancing me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/2026851-chances-for-stanford-penn-harvard-columbia-and-other-top-schools.html#latest

Stanford accepted 4.65% of applicants this year. I would guess that your chances are probably better than that, but still way below 50%. I would say apply, but definitely put effort into other options.

Hey! Good luck to the both of us. :(( I have taken 2 other subject tests on the same day but decided not to send those in bc my Bio was like alright (710) and my Chem which I took without studying was scarily below average (think less than 600). And nope, unfortunately I’m not spectacular enough at swim like some of my peers to be recruited for sports.

Update for any future applicants~ twas rejected! Don’t let this discourage you though; anyone has a fair shot to get in, so don’t be afraid to try. Good luck!
