Hey I’m trying to transfer out of NYU as well, so we’re birds of a feather! I’m in LSP, but a 4.0 in Stern is very impressive, good job! If you really need to get out of stern make sure you apply to more schools than just columbia and MIT. Honestly, at this point, it’ll come down to your essays, but have faith! Both columbia and MIT receive a sea of 4.0’s.

What are your reasons for transferring? I just want a more well-rounded experience.

Hi-5 buddy!
I just want to pursue more technical courses that stern doesn’t offer. On the contrary Columbia and MIT’s programs are both very math and tech-based
Which schools r u applying for? Good luck to u as well :)

My main choice is Brown, if I get into the others (UPenn, Swarthmore, Middlebury) it might not be enough to make me leave NY lol I’m starting to find my niche in middle eastern studies and economics.
