FYI_

Summary of ILR-Specific Requirements for Freshman Applicants
All freshman applicants should submit scores from the SAT Reasoning Test and the SAT II in math (any level). If you take the ACT with Writing, you do not need to take any SAT exams. If you have not yet taken the SAT II in Math, you may take this test when it is offered in January and we will wait until the results arrive before reviewing your application. If you are not able to take the SAT II in Math, but you would still like to apply to ILR, please send an email to ilr_admissions@cornell.edu and let us know. This will not affect your chances of admission, but will simply let us know to use your other standardized scores and class grades to evaluate your math ability.

You don’t need any SAT II’s for ILR if you send in the ACT’s… it’s not that hard to read.

yeah haha soccerwolfp these people might be illiterate

Your application appears like many other kids from NY. Good luck.

Thanks for the backhanded “good luck.”

How was that backhanded? Seemed pretty sincere to me.

Anyways, chances look very good ED, don’t see any major weaknesses. Not much else to say, good luck.

i think i’m just getting nervous because it comes out tomorrow…but should i be concerned with the fact that my ec’s aren’t extremely specific to ILR? i do mock trial and studied abroad (which explain my interest in law and international relations - i want to work for the UN or one of its agencies like the international labour organization, i made sure to emphasize that in my alumni interview although i know it isn’t really an interview)

should i not be so worried? i think my grades, scores, recommendations and essays were all certainly good enough to get in. but will they question whether i’m as good a “match” as other kids who applied ED?

worried, your application looks pretty strong, I think and assuming your essays are just as solid, imo – you have a really good chance of getting in. In any case we’ll all know for sure in 1 day, 1 hour & 5 minutes! Good Luck!!!

thank you!!! good luck to you too
