Your decision might be deferred to the second notification period because of your GPA.
Thank you for the reply! What do you think are my chances in the final decision?
Did you explain your GPA in your application? Do you have an upward GPA trend? What’s your GPA for this semester? Describe your class rigor (any honors/AP course?).
I had 6 AP classes senior year, and 2 AP classes junior year and plenty of honor courses. My GPA trend is upward. My GPA this semester is likely to be 3.5 or 3.67 UW and I did say some things regarding my GPA in my application such as not realizing the importance of education in my freshmen year.
Your junior year grades are the last ones seen. You should be getting great grades in the most rigorous classes your HS offers. There are many applicants who can manage to get mostly A’s in tough/AP classes while also finding time for activities. This means that there is not enough room for all students who could succeed at UW. Be sure to have alternatives.
