First, good luck to you in your college admissions process.

Second, I see that you’ve posted several “chance” posts. I would encourage you to visit as many of the schools as you can. Many LACs like to see interest and a great way to show that (as well as learn whether the school might be a fit for you) is to visit.

Third, if you are able to narrow your choices to a couple of top choices, then I would recommend applying ED. Bucknell offers two ED rounds and tends to view kids that apply ED as highly interested. ED admissions rate are typically higher for most schools, so this could help out, especially since your SATs may be a drawback.

Good luck on retaking the SAT. I would plan on taking the ACT as well and perhaps the SAT again in the Fall. Bucknell uses the superscored CR and M (not writing).

In your post you mention you have only taken one AP class - to be honest that is a little light compared to most Bucknell applicants, many of whom will take 5+ AP classes or are IB diploma candidates.
Also 911C2S is right - if you are a strong candidate the option of going ED to Bucknell will really improve your odds. Our son was accepted to Bucknell ED along with 2 other classmates (all great students taking rigorous classes). However in the RD round at their high school no one else got into Bucknell- all were either waitlisted or denied.
Good luck in your college search!

Everything looks good except your SATs. You know that.

If you really want to go to Bucknell, you need to make it known. Visit, apply ED, and make sure your Bucknell application essays are geared towards Bucknell.
