Are you good enough to be recruited for Tennis?
How high do you think you can bring your SAT to?
Have you taken the ACT? (if not – you should definitely do so, some students score much higher on this test).

As it stands – if you’re good enough tho be recruited, you have an excellent shot. If not, unless you can bring up the SATs I’d say an outside shot at best. (unfortunately, the SAT scores you show are rather low, unless you have some kind of a hook).

Are you taking any more aps besides ap history?
Academics seem weak to me as is your SAT score (note that Cornell only looks at critical reading and math).

If you aren’t good enough to be recruited then I’d says it’s a long shot, a high reach. But if you are good enough then to have a great chance of getting in. In fact my friend got recruited for track to study in the hotel school even though her SAT is in the 1800 range and class rank is in the top ~30% of the grade.

I would be an arts and sciences major. Also I have been looked at by some D1 coaches who say Cornell could want me for tennis but I don’t know. Also my school only offers ap history and science and I’m not really a science person. I’m retaking the SATs and hoping to break 2000.

You need to take the AP science courses even if it isn’t your strongest subject. With so few AP courses offered Cornell is going to expect you to take the most rigorous courses offered. In addition you need to raise your SAT score approx. 200 pts. …or be good enough to be recruited in tennis.
