<p>To be honest, you’re going to have a hard time getting in. The glaring weakness in your application has to be the SAT score. As far as the IB curriculum goes, I would really doubt taking IB courses would help you all too much. I realize that IB courses maybe harder than AP courses, but once you receive 30k+ applicants with the majority of them taking multiple AP and IB classes, the advantage of taking an IB course is pretty much null. </p>
<p>Other helpful stats to post would be the number of hours you volunteered, ethnicity, state/country you’re applying from. This information could either help or hurt your chances.</p>
