<p>Note: I had a semester of C's from my first year of CC--MAJOR upward grade trend--Straight A student by second year, explained in optional essay my situation of working 50 a week and living on my own.</p>

I have retaken two classes (recieved D's and retook and got B's)--they were "over written" in my GPA</p>

<p>Essays: good-great</p>

<p>Ecs: Officer of history club, theater department (involved in productions), 100+ hrs. community service, 40+ hours of work a week for 5 years</p>

<p>ur obviously in for all the UCs you signed TAG with, but for UCLA and UCB its defiantly a reach. history isnt taht impacted but ur GPA is rather low. if u did TAP with UCLA u would have had a chance</p>

<p>actually for Cal History will be hard to get into since it is part of the social sciences department, which is a really impacted dept. and Berk does admissions by dept. I dont know about UCLA’s history program, but its prolly not as hard to get into as Cal’s and UCSC ur in.</p>

<p>There were a bunch of people who got in with 3.3 GPAs last spring. Your essay and upward grade trend will be the deciding factor.</p>
