Chance me please? Transfer student

Current school: SDSU, Finance Major
Current year: Sophomore(will be a junior transfer)
Applying to: MCB
GPA: 3.97.(only one A- in a required humanities class about movies) 4.0 in major classes
EC’s:

  1. SDSU Finance and Investment Society,
  2. Golf team in high school(wasn’t sure whether this would help but i put it there anyways)
  3. Officer of the SDSU Martial Arts Club
  4. I work part time in college at Big 5
    I am most worried about my high school performance, a 3.4 GPA and a 1600/2400 SAT is horrible. I didn’t really try in high school, but i stepped it up and performed significantly better in college. Do i have a chance at all?

I would say it’d be worth it to apply, but college admissions is about giving the adcom no reason not to let you in, and you’re giving them a reason with that SAT score. I’m unsure, but junior transfers may be able to get away with not submitting their SATs. Check.
