what does your uc calculated gpa come out to?

Im not sure how to calculate it
My school’s weighted GPA makes AP classes on a 5.0 point scale while normal ones are on a 4.0

well, the uc system caps those extra 5 points at 8 classes.

yeah, your school weights the GPA the typical way. So just add up the points from 10-11th grade, by semester. And you can add extra weight to only 8 semesters of classes. Then divide up all the points by the # of semesters.

UC’s also only weight their “a-g” classes; no technical art, no PE, etc. You add a point (up to 8 in 10th and 11th grade) for AP and/or H classes.
