Chance me please (UChicago, Harvard, Stanford, Northwestern.)

Hi everyone,

I’ve been browsing CC the last few weeks and the info on here has been really helpful in constructing my college list and exploring what different universities have to offer. I’m a rising senior, Muslim Indian-American, in a class of 750 students.

I have a 1580 SAT (w/ 8 Essay), 35 ACT (w/ a 21 essay :-S ), and for SAT II’s, 800 Math 2, 760 Chem, 730 Bio.
I’m anticipating being a National Merit Semi-Finalist this fall (I have a pretty good index). I have an unweighted 3.978 GPA (why u do dis to me Creative Writing) with a weighted 5.583 GPA, which places me 13/750. I’ve been rising rank-wise throughout high school and I hope I finish in the top 10, if that affects my chances in any way.

I’m taking AP English IV, Bio, Physics C, Gov/Econ, and Computer Science A next year, which adds to my current AP Credits for World History, English III, Calc BC, Stats, Chem, Physics I, and Spanish, all of which I made 5’s on aside from Spanish (which was a 3.)

For extracurriculars:
VP of our school’s Student Council, of which I served as VP of my individual class council the last year.
President of HOSA (Health Occupational Students of America), of which I’ve served as Secretary the last two years.
Founder and President of the Muslim Students Association, which I’ve served as President for every year besides last year.
Member of NHS (just an afternote.)
Academy Ambassador (Basically I’d present Health Science courses and programs to students at local middle schools and elementary schools, along with CTE professionals across our local area. I work pretty closely with our school’s health science teachers because of HOSA and AA.)

I’ve created multiple initiatives and have led some of my clubs to join major events taking place across my city (basically I’ve done stuff with my clubs to back up the cool titles), and over the last few summers, I’ve volunteered at a local hospital, done research at our state’s flagship school, and served as a Senator at Boys State (not saying which state  ).

I like to think I’m friendly and humorous (ask my loyal subjects, they’ll all respond with praise… or else.)

I’m applying to a mix of top universities around the country. Without going into detail about my whole list, the ones I’m most interested in finding y’all’s opinions about are UChicago, Harvard, Stanford, and Northwestern.

Thank you all so much!

Ack, forgot to put up there. I’m hoping to go into a career in medicine, so I’ll be heavily involved at medical programs wherever I go, and I’m hoping to apply to Biology (specifically Cellular Biology/Anatomy majors, I find them fun lol.) My Bio SAT II score wasn’t as high as I was hoping it would be, but I’m hoping the colleges will understand that I haven’t taken AP Bio yet.
