Chance me please!!! Ucla transferr!!!

Hey bruins and bruin hopefully!

So I had a 3.4 gpa at UCSC as a freshman. Now I am at a Community College in Souther Cali. My gpa that the admissions will see is a 3.65. I am in the TAP program. My first major choice is Global Studies and my second major is East Asian Studies. What are my chancess??!? UCLA is my dream school and can't wait to to get the admission decisions in april!

THANKS!

you will get in dont worry…

@ Torrancecali

What did you base that off of? I’m actually curious, I have a friend who’s applying as a transfer.

You’ll get in as an east asian studies major just as long as you have a satisfactory personal statement. I don’t know how competitive the global studies major is though.

Following comments are anecdotal, but here goes.

From what my CC said, generally speaking, TAP = you should get in.

Everyone I knew got in and our GPAs ranged from 3.4-3.9. The majors were biz econ and psychobio mostly.

sweet thanks…btw to Altema and all those who transferred to UCLA…how was it when you transfered? Was it a easy transition? What I really want to know is how it was for you to make friends and get into those clicks of buddies who knew each other since freshman year?

Thanks

i don’t know how competitive that major is, but i know transfers with similar GPAs that got into engineering as transfers.

that gives me hope! cant wait till i know forsure! sucha killer wait
