Chance me please! UCLA?

<p>I live in California and just finished my junior year and I really want to go to UCLA, UCB, or UCSD. With just my stats do I have a chance?
GPA UW: 3.9
GPA W: 4.55
ACT C: 32
English:34
Math:34
Reading:25
Science:33
Sat 2 physics: 700
Sat 2 math: 800</p>

<p>I am a part time student at my local community college and am on track to receive my associates degree by the end of high school, 3.9 GPA there UW.</p>

<p>AP Calc AB, 5
Ap Literature, 3
Going to take 3 more Ap classes senior year. I have tended to take college classes instead of Ap classes.</p>

Library volunteer
helped my dad start and run his manufacturing business since I was in 7th grade
Played the violin since 5th grade, in my high school orchestra.
Played violin in group for elderly folk in nursing home</p>

<p>I am a girl and I plan on majoring in either engineering or something mathematics related. I have a lot of engineering experience working in my dads manufacturing business, also received an award for having one of the highest grades in advanced math (Ap calculus). I don't know if that will help me. Along with chances does anyone know would it be better to apply as an engineering or math major? I'm kind of on the fence about what exactly it is I want to do, so will declaring one of them as my major help more in the admissions process?</p>

<p>I had similar stats and extracurrics but with more APs and as an declared engineering girl, I did not get into any of the schools you mentioned. Once you get into the average/slightly above average pool of people it just really depends on how everyone else is of whether you get in or not</p>

<p>these are definitely schools you can get into. dont be scared by what ^ person said. my sister had much lower stats than you and got into UCLA, UCSD, USB, and now goes to UCB. just make sure your essays are stellar and you will get in!</p>
