Chance me Please (UConn honors, NYU Stern)

Hello. I am applying to UConn EA Honors, NYU Stern and some other schools.

I go to a really competitive private high school in NY. All of the courses that I took over the four years were honor courses. I want to major in accounting/finance. I speak 3 languages. I am a white US citizen from Connecticut.(first in family to go to college)

GPA UW: 3.6
Current senior first semester GPA UW: 3.84(Calculus, Macroeconomics and others,5 total)
SAT CR:740 M:660 W: 680 Essay: 8
SAT 2 Math 1:720 US History:740
AP Us History:4

EC:
Amazing volunteer work
Macroeconomics Circle
Technology Club
German Peer Tutoring
History Club
Language Saturday School 9, 10

I dont do school sports besides intramurals, but I do swim and ice skate on weekends.

Great personal statement

One good recommendation, one really good

So will I get into UConn honors and NYU Stern?

Very Weak SAT I is going to kill you. Especially since your lowest score was in math…going to a school for finance with a low math score is a killer. UCONN yeah, UCONN Honors maybe, NYU Stern…I doubt it.

Just today I got accepted to UConn Honors. Now, when do we find out about merit scholarships? There was nothing on the website with the decision. I am also curious if admission to the Honors Program increases the probability of getting a scholarship.

You’ll know if you got a scholarship when your packet comes in the mail. Congrats!

Thanks. I got one of the scholarships. UConn is now looking like a really attractive option for me. Also, is it possible to double major within the Business School Honors Program?
