<p>Hey guys I am very worried about my admission chances to:
UCI, UCLA, UCSD, UCB, USC, Cal Poly SLO
My main college that I want to get into is UCSD.</p>

<p>I'm from a Southern California school residing in Westminster, California. So here is my statistics:
22/603
10-12 A-E,G:4.3500 Weighted GPA
4.24 Weighted 9-12 GPA
3.88 Unweighted GPA.
SAT Math: 620
SAT CR: 530
SAT WR: 500
1650 OVERALL.
SAT SUBJECT US HISTORY: 680
SAT SUBJECT CHEMISTRY: 580</p>

<p>AP TEST SCORES:
5 AP BIO
4 AP WORLD HISTORY
3 AP US HISTORY</p>

<p>I have been notified by the University of California that I was qualified for Eligibility in the Local Context (ELC). Basically it guarantees a spot at a UC because I am top 4% of class.</p>

<p>My extracurriculars:
*Tennis freshman and sophomore year. </p>

<p>*MERITS Club (Volunteering club and magnet math and science program) - freshman to present. A secretary officer this year.</p>

<p>*Co-founder of Friday Night Live. I know it's a funny name but it's a club to help young children stay away from gangs, drugs and all that good stuff. My friend an I are opening up a chapter for our school.</p>

<p>*NHS Member 2 years. Active member</p>

<p>*CSF California Scholarship Federation - 2 years active member</p>

<p>*LINK Crew Leader. Junior and senior year. Group that helps incoming freshman that are struggling to make the transition from middle school to high school.</p>

<p>*Volunteered over 150+ hours within my community.</p>

<p>I am currently taking three AP classes and two honors classes and as admissions are under way, I am worried about my chances. How do I stack up to the UC system and the two privates I want to get into. I'm scared out of my life right now. I'm panicking and everything. Please give me your opinions and comments please. All is appreciated!</p>

UCLA - no
USC - maybe, but unlikely
UCSD - unlikely, but you could be lucky
UCI - i think you can get in
CalPoly SLO - yes</p>

<p>Your SAT scores are too low, if you have a chance to retake them, do so. Your unweighted GPA is good, but remember they only look at sophomore year and junior year. I got into UCB/UCLA/UCSD (didn’t apply for those others), so you can trust me.</p>

<p>wow your school grades must be really inflated if you screw up that bad on SAT and can still be in top 4%. And im so surprised that 3.88 is top four percent; at my school its top 30% at least LOL. To get into the top 8% you have to be a valedictorian! (we have 40 valedics out of a class of 500). And this is with extreme grade deflation.
Anyways, im sure you can do better on that SAT. Come on, the first time I took it (without any practice) I got a 1900! And im a 3.5 gpaer. Dont you hav to like…fall asleep to get a 1600? seriously…just take it again and dont fall asleep this time!
Right now your ticket to get into UCSD is in your hands (which you will have to give to collegeboard who will then give you a one way flight to UCSD). If you want to go there, put in the effort…</p>
