<p>I'm 17 this year, and I'm applying for Regular Decision.</p>

<p>I did my IGCSEs in June 2012 and got 9A*s and 1A. It's a CGPA of 42.7, average of 4.3 (weighted) 4.0 (unweighted)</p>

<p>I play the violin, and have toured with the Asian Youth Orchestra around Asia, English Schools Orchestra in London and Malaysian Philharmonic Youth Orchestra around Brisbane. </p>

<p>I've done quite a lot of community work, and raised around $3000 for an Autistic Support Centre in Malaysia, and led a charity team to donate to the flood and landslide victims.</p>

<p>I've done an internship in an accounting firm. I was also the captain of the school debate team, and I was an academic decathlon and got Academic Colours and stuff. I joined the Math Olympiad Squad as well. I also did some athletics in high school. </p>

<p>I rank second in a class of approx 80?</p>

<p>I submitted a CD recording of my violin playing too.</p>

<p>I got a 730 for my Physics SAT II and 770 for Math Level 1. The Physics is a horrendous mark, but I can't retake because I'm doing a reasoning test in Jan.</p>

<p>What are my chances?</p>

But where is your SAT or ACT?</p>

<p>I haven’t done my SAT reasoning yet… only in Jan…</p>

You should call them and ask them if they accept January SAT score
If they can, you should score at least 2100 or 2200

<p>The last SAT test date Yale accepts is from January, so you are good-to-go… But, without an SAT test score no one can tell if you’re within Yale’s range. Best of luck to you in January!</p>

<p>You need 2100+ for your SAT. Other than that you have a decent chance for Yale.</p>

<p>It also depends on your recommendations and essays. Just work to make sure that your SAT scores reflect your GPA.</p>
