<p>Hello, I was wondering what do you think my chances are for getting into Penn State-University Park. I want to major in special education. </p>
<p>Had a bad freshman and sophomore year with spanish and math, and that is why my GPA is low but I have gradually increased it each semester. Junior year semester grades were much better. Junior year 1st semester was a 3.0/4.0 (unweighed) and a 4.20/5.00 (weighted), 2nd semester was a 3.35/4.00 (unweighed) and a 4.55/5.00 (weighted).</p>
<p>White Male: yes i know special education is a rare field of study for a male to go into and thats why i want to know if i have a shot.</p>

3 year of Lacrosse (2 varsity, 1 JV)
Worked as a caddy at a Country Club for 6 years
10-15 hours of community service at local food pantry
Over 150 hours of work/volunteer services outside of school with multiple students 1 on 1 with mental disabilities ranging from Autism, Down Syndrome, and Fragile X</li>

<p>What are my chances??? And can should I apply directly to Education or write down intended major for Special Education</p>
