It would be better to have a more difficult course load, but you did do well in your classes. Your weighted GPA is high, but it might not be high enough for top-tier schools like Berkeley, Columbia, and Northwestern. You have a shot, but it’s not solid. Your stats are impressive, though. :)

hey, I actually used college confidential alot for help applying to schools,
I am a sophomore in the Villanova/penn program,
I got into dental schools in england, villanova/penn, lehigh/penn, columbia, nyu (7 year dental), pacific, and bunch of other ones,
to be honest, I had a ****tier stats than you and I got into all those schools,

just be yourself because in the end, these colleges choose you, if they think you are a candidate for a career in dentistry, they will take you in, if you they think you are fit for columbia they will take you in,
I am not bsing when I say this but I applied to columbia because my parents told me to and I got accepted, I literally just wrote down who I am wasnt even trying,

your scores and everything are there, its just a matter of what school is a better match for you,

goodluck… I remember a few years ago being in that same situation

If we could combine my CR SAT scores and your Math ones we’d get into an ivy between us! Mine were high at the critical reading end and lower in math - opposite of you. Seems like you’d have a good shot at most of the schools be sure to give your application Focus and Direction with the essays, as you have a TON of small EC’s. All of my experience says that admissions prefers several large things to lots of small varied ones. Just a warning UNC Chapel Hill is very In-State oriented, meaning that out of state applicants have a distinct disadvantage, so make sure its really what you want to do and you wouldn’t like an Early Decision to a more certain school. Seen this from my own high school in VA. Best of luck.

Hurricane Sandy has given me nothing to do so I thought I’d bump this and see what everyone thinks.
As of right now, my college list is: UMichigan (EA), U Southern Cal, UNC Chapel Hill (EA), WashU BS/MD, NYU 7year BS/DMD, Pitt (accepted - conditional dental), Columbia, VCU 8year BS/DMD, Northeastern U (EA, mom did MBA there), Villanova/Penn 7year BS/DMD (EA), Northwestern U, Rutgers U (accepted), Temple U, Drexel U BS/MD, U Rochester 8year BS/MD, SUNY Buffalo BS/DMD
