i think you have a great chance at all of those schools but usc and u of m can go either way because your applying from out of state but your are still very competitive

U of M I'm not sure about. You have a shot, but need way better SAT's to be comfortable. You have good grades and EC's so that's good, but somehow they manage to be a very selective school.

USC you have a better shot at I would say, but with those SAT's you probably want to improve to have a better shot

Everything else you should be accepted no problem

USC, UCLA and UMich are your low reaches, but bringing up your SAT/ACT will help. For USC, a 31 ACT/2080 SAT is generally considered to be in their range. Everywhere else seems to be a good match

Coming from out of state will not hurt you at all at USC, since it is a private university and not a UC school. For this year's incoming freshman class (class of 2012), the average unweighted GPA was just over 3.8 and the average SAT was just over 2100. So my read is that it's not a sure thing, but it's certainly a possibility. (I'm not sure about the average ACT, but you could look this up.) You might want to consider retaking the SAT just to see if you can bump it up a little bit. Very good list. Good luck!

You're definately in at USD (very wealthy student body and a pretty good school), Maryland, University of Washington, Madison, and Boston University. On the other hand, UCLA and USC are going to be reaches, but if you can increase your SAT score by 50 to 100 points, you will have a good shot at USC, and a better chance at UCLA. Michigan is tough for OOS applicants, but you have a decent shot.

You should consider UVA and UT-Austin.

USC is a FANTASTIC university, FIGHT ON!!!!!
