Transfering after freshman year from Sewanee (Univ. of the South)

College GPA- ~3.3 (pretty hard course load, several 200 and 300 level courses)
High school GPA- 3.45 (includes 25 college credit hours)
SAT- Took it once, got 1380 (660 math, 720 verbal)
National Merit semi-finalist, good chance at finalist
EC- Community service, doing some work for a non-profit, etc.
Recs- Should be [very] good

Any suggestions for schools to apply to (that are along the same lines as the two I mentioned) are welcome. Thanks.

Other choices would depend on what you're looking for. Are you just looking for a bigger school than Sewanee or are you looking for a certain type of program?

sibelius - I dont know of any other real suggestions for you. If you are looking for premier large universities in the south there is always university of georgia, unvisersity of florida. If you are looking for a larger university type there is emory, wake forest, and vanderbilt. More description of what you are looking for would be needed. The reason I am responding is hopefully to gain some insight into Sewanee (univ. of the south), a school that I am very seriously considering applying and if I get accepted go to. I would love a response either pm or just through your post, thanks and good luck for this process.
