Chance me please! (Vandy, Northwestern, Duke, Emory, Cornell, U. of Rochester, CWRU, Wake Forest)

Final chance me of the year! Also, I’ve already gotten into the Ohio State University Honors Program, so that’s why this list is devoid of any safeties. I’ve applied to all of these schools in the RD round.

I’ll probably end up sending both my SAT and ACT because each showcase a different ability in math and English. Thanks!

I believe I know what school you go to, but I obviously won’t say (I also live in Ohio). In my opinion, you seem to have a great shot at all of these schools, you’re mid-range for VU, NW, D and a little bit over average for Cornell. I’d say the only thing holding you back a bit is the ECs, there’s nothing that really stands out.

@sparkykoolkat
You are a great applicant, and I personally think adcoms consider being Muslim as a hook especially these last few years.
Vandy- Low Reach
Northwestern- Reach
Duke- Low Reach/ Reach
Emory- High Match/ Low Reach
Cornell- Low Reach
U. of Rochester- Low Match/ Match
CWRU- Match
Wake Forest- Low Match

ECs are decent and stats are great. You are a competitive applicant for all of these schools

Thank you for all the insight! I know my ECs are average of below-average to some of these top schools (completely my fault). Hopefully some of my essays make up for them (I personally think Vanderbilt’s EC essay and Duke’s community essay are really good).
