The schools I'm interested in are:
Penn-Wharton (ED)
Princeton
Columbia
UChicago
Harvard
Stanford
Duke
NYU Stern
UMiami
UMich

I'm interested in finance or economics, so if you can suggest any more schools (especially mid tier) that would be really helpful.
Thanks!

Hmm.. I’m applying to some of the schools you are, but lemme see…

Your math progression is excellent, major props.
Good EC leadership.
SAT pretty good.
SAT 2 =(
GPA ??? 1 B from eighth grade? is that possible? lol

Penn-Wharton (ED)- VERY GOOD SHOT, considering your EC’s. You prrbly already know this, but write about your leadership positions in FBLA, Interact, and MAT.
Princeton- slight reach
Columbia- reach
UChicago- near match
Harvard- reach(SAT 2s)
Stanford- reach(SAT 2s) If you have time, raise 'em up a bit.
Duke- match
NYU Stern- slight reach
UMiami-match
UMich-match

G’Luck!!!

Might wanna retake math II, wharton doesn’t look kindly on 700s on math II considering the generous curve.

Other than that, great shot at Wharton!

Yeah. def. retake Math II. just get a book and do a couple practice tests and the generous curve will get u a bamf score. Sweet chinese score though. is that test hard? Im planning on taking it and Im fluent in Chinese, but my mom thinks itll be hard cause im not too good at reading or writing. Your thoughts?

haha thanks.
yeah, my math test taking tends to not be that great lol
@ kindkid-in middle school we had the option to take classes for high school credit, i could have dropped it and retaken it later but i didn’t think one B would make that much of a difference

@swordmaster-well I actually don’t even speak chinese to my parents so i would definitely not consider myself fluent, actually compared to other chinese people, my chinese sucks lol. but if you can understand listening, and can read without ping ying, i would go for it =)

any more suggestions?

Is my SAT I score in the range for Wharton, should I consider retaking it?
Any recommendations for safeties and matches welcome too.
