your ec’s are a little scattered. are you planning on a science/math track or business? otherwise pretty good.

academics btw are perfect, almost nothing you could do to improve… sure you could be valedictorian but the difference is insignificant.

HYP + Wharton + Columbia will be reaches.
Duke, Dartmouth, UChicago, NU, Cornell, and Georgetown will be low reaches
UMich and Carnegie Mellon would be high matches/matches. NU might even be a high match here. Uchicago could be a match depending on how your essays are. They like really good essays.

^Thanks. So is Cornell tougher than NU? I thought NU had a higher ranking? But oh well. I’d be happy if I ended up in Cornell, Uchicago, or Duke.

the admit rate for cornell is slightly lower than northwestern independant of rankings. and for some reason i just get the impression that cornell is slightly more competitive than NU. im no expert.

Wait I’m confused, “Essay: Very humbling and kind of unique with regard to my experiences in life.” Did you already write your application essay?

But to answer your question, you have so many views and so few replies because your stats are cookie-cutter stats. Everyone already knows you will be applying to some of the best schools, and you will get accepted into some of the best schools…I mean 2400 in one sitting? 4.0 GPA? USABO? CU SHP?
Who are you kidding, you are going to a good school and you know it. People take one look at this post, and think “If he’s worrying, what should I be doing?”

There is nothing to chance, and there is nothing to predict. Your application will fall in line accordingly with the thousands of other qualified applicants at HYP, and when it comes down to it, a group of 5-8 admissions officers who have not the slightest clue about you or your personality will pass around your profile, attempting to make sense out of numbers and awards, and with an aye or nay will singlehandedly decide your fate at that school.

Apply to the universities of your dreams, and hope for the best. In the meantime, worry less about the admissions process, and your chances of being accepted at this or that, and worry more about your passion and what you wanna do once you get to your dream school.

Harvard- high reach
Yale- high reach
Princeton (maybe early action)- maybe high reach?
UPenn Wharton (ED)- i’d say you’re about as good as the kid who got into wharton from my school. right good essays, potential regular reach hah
Columbia University SEAS- no idea
Duke- high match
Darmouth- reach
UChicago (early action)- reach
Northwestern- high match
Cornell Applied Economics Program-reach
Carnegie Mellon Tepper School of Business-match
U of Michigan Ross Business School-match
Georgetown Business School (early action)-high match
U of Rochester (safety)- safety haha

good luck, i’d say more volunteering hours, and excellent essays, and I bet you’ll get into an ivy.

I think you have a fairly solid shot at any of the schools! Thanks for chancing me. I’m not too experienced with chancing people though, so take my words with a grain of salt. I am so jealous that you have a good chance at the NIH internship; I didn’t apply because it seemed impossible, and I don’t have any connections. It sounds like an amazing opportunity!

you have a good chance, just make your essay shine. Scores, I’ve heard, especially if they’re as high as yours, are only the first step. The essay is apparently what shows why you uniquely would be a good addition to the school.
