Yeah Vassar and Yale-NUS are actually the schools that I've narrowed down on. I've thought of Swarthmore, Williams, Amherst, Wesleyan, Colgate, Reed, Pomona and a couple of other liberal arts colleges (dead set on LACs) but Vassar and Yale-NUS are the schools I want most

My gross monthly household income is <USD8000 so I can't afford college without financial aid. I'm applying for scholarships under local companies and government boards but they're really competitive. So yeah I'm applying for financial aid. Wiiiiill this greatly reduce my chances?

I think my weakest links are promo/prelim grades and my strongest are probably my ECs which sorta cohere and (maybe) show my dedication to choir? I'm planning to join choir and theatre in college. Oh and my SATs hopefully assuage the less-than-desirable school grades?

I'd be more than happy to send you my essays if you want to read them would love to have comments for them too.

Thank you SO much!! very grateful. :) :) :)

P.S. I looooove Vassar very very much MY HEART ACHES FOR IT <3
