What are my chances for admission to Carnegie Mellon, Cornell, Northwestern, and Johns Hopkins as a Computer Science major?

-UW GPA: 3.54, W GPA: 4.14 (Low UW but I'm still top 9% at my school)
-SAT Reasoning: 2260 (730 Math, 730 Reading, 800 Writing w/ 12 on essay)
-SAT II: 790 Math II, 700 U.S. History
-Taken 13 AP and 6 Honors courses throughout high school (all 4's and 5's)
-EC's:
1.Intern at a software company, I hold a quality assurance position and I basically test android applications for functionality and user convenience. 10 hours a week for 16 weeks. (11, 12)
2.Community service at church, I maintain facilities every Sunday afternoon. 2 hours a week every week of the year, give or take 2 weeks. (9, 10, 11, 12)
3.Travel basketball, I got cut from HS team but I still love playing. About two hours spent at practice every night for the team, year-long commitment. (9, 10, 11)
4. Exhibition designer at a local cultural center, latest project was a modern and vandalized rendition of Thomas Jefferson's desk that provided a subversive commentary on his character and idiosyncrasies. 10 hours a week for 12 weeks. (11)
-For my letters of rec, I asked my English teacher who I had in both sophomore and junior year and my 11th grade Calculus teacher. I had conversations with both everyday before/after class, and they both adore me.
-My common app essay was about two years in my life when my dad worked 190 miles away from home, and how his absence for extended periods of time contributed to my growth and maturity. I think it was well-written, and I think my supplements were all well-written too.

You have a very good application put together! Your ECs are all very interesting and, more importantly, unique; the 3rd and 4th ECs would make for great essay topics IMHO.

Carnegie: match
Northwestern: match
JHU: high match/low reach
Cornell: low/mid-reach (definitely in range, but Cornell isn’t anything better than a low reach for anyone)

I agree with the above, but I’d put Northwestern and Cornell as solid low reach/reach schools. They’re both reaches for everyone, but they’re totally in your sights.

You have pretty good test scores, but your GPA is below average for a lot of these schools. Plus, you have to realize that schools like CMU are VERY competitive for CS. I believe the middle 50% for the class was an 800 in math and they’re ranked #1 in the nation.

Carnegie: High Reach (for comp sci.), Otherwise it’s a Low Reach/High Match
Cornell: Reach
Northwestern: Low Reach
JHU: Low Reach

Your application seems great, the GPA may be your anchor though. However, as long as you made your Essays absolutely phenomenal, you’ll be fine for the most part.

You have a good shot at everyone of those schools. leaning more toward a 60/40 acceptance rate/rejection rate for you. Are you in any school clubs or honor societies? Every school wants you to know that you have school pride otherwise they may not accept you and give your spot to someone who may enjoy being at said school. Otherwise your stats are very good leaning on great. but fine overall.

Finished first semester of senior year with a 4.8 Weighted, 3.8 Unweighted.
AP English Literature- A
AP Physics C- A
AP Calculus B- A
AP Gov- B
AP Computer Science- A

Do my grades this semester increase my chances by a significant amount?
