Those are great schools so they are reaches for everyone but you have great grades, a great gap, very strong sat and strong ecs. You have a good chance at all of them and I don’t doubt you will get into at least some of those schools if not all! You obviously over came an awful disease while still doing great in school so that really sets you apart. You will have success in applying to these schools! Goodluck!

I think you have a fairly high chance of getting in!! Your work experience if uni que and your resume is well rounded. Your grades and course load are fantastic. Just remember that these schools are very selective and even highly qualified students don’t get it. I wish you the best of luck!

It looks like you have a great chance of getting in to these schools, as long as you essays are really good and judging by the awards you have received it looks like writing is one of your strong points, I wish you luck and I find it inspiring that you managed to overcome such an awful disease and still maintain the grades you have. I know a couple people that got into both duke and Hopkins with lower scores and less EC’s than you so you definitely have a good shot there in my opinion.

It looks like you have a great shot in getting into all of these schools great scores and great ecs
Good luck!

To me private schools are not worth the money you spend. Yes you may get a better education, but it’s not worth the extra money you have to pay, unless you get a scholarship. Same goes for out of state college. But that’s my opinion. I would research which program you like best and the National ranking, not sure how that works, to decide which college and program fits you best.

I would consider applying ED to the school you like the best.

Penn, for example, has about a 25% ED admission rate and only about a 7% regular admission rate.

@Much2learn I already applied early to Harvard (I submitted my application in late september)
Also @Texaskid123 going to Harvard and all the other schools I listed would about the same price or less than going to Texas A&M or UT would be, so I’m not just frivolously throwing away money on expensive schools

Hi!

Your stats are definitely ideal for an Ivy acceptance. I would not be surprised if you got into most of these schools, but they are very random and still definitely reaches. As unfortunate as your disease was, I think it’s very inspiring that you still maintained amazing grades/scores despite being ill. I see that you’ve already written your essays, but consider writing about that. I don’t really need to see anything you need to improve on, but if you’re really concerned, try to get that Lit score to 700? Its really minor though, so don’t be worried

I’d chance them as all reaches, but I am confident that you have a great shot at all of them. Good luck!
