Lol I was reading this thread and it looks like a cyber fight was about to break out. Anyways…
I think you’re a good contender for all of the UCs. Being a California resident will help. And your test scores look good for all of the UCs. UW GPA is a little low for UCLA and UCB, though.
Moving onto ECs… You have a decent batch of ECs. The #1 in a unique sport really caught my eye. Which sport is it? I happen to be #1 in my gym’s ranking system for a unique sport too! If it is a recruitable sport, however, that could be confusing. How come you aren’t being recruited if you’re #1? If the sport isn’t recruitable, then it would be more interesting than weird. My sport, freerunning, isn’t recruitable but when I talk to adcoms they seem really interested with it. Make sure you have some accomplishments in that area to back it up.
Unfortunately, UCs don’t heavily weight ECs in admissions. They rely more on test scores and GPA. So, that could be good and bad for you.
Overall, regarding the UCs, I think you have a pretty good shot at all of them but UCLA and UCB will be more difficult to get into. Good luck!

@ap012199 My sport is fencing!!! I was actually recruited from some schools but I declined because I knew for sure I wanted to go into dentistry and those school either didn’t have a good predental program or I didn’t like the school itself/campus haha
Ah ok. Just make sure you explain that on your app. That will def give you a boost. There’s a kid at my school who’s #1 in his division and he wants to go to Brown lol.
@ap012199 thanks! As far as you (I saw your post) I know absolutely nothing about the ivy leagues but I do think that you are surely one of the most competitive applicants they’ll get! Those schools are ridiculously hard to get into and honestly just having the opportunity to think of those school as your choices is amazing in my opinion. I’m sorry if I’m giving you unnecessary comment instead of chances but I did not do research in those schools so I wouldn’t want to give you the wrong chances! Wishing you the best of luck in your senior year and applying/getting into colleges
University of Chicago I’ll say 70% due to great EC’s. Vanderbilt I’ll say 75% UCLA and UCSD I’ll give 80%.
@Nathanroon99 that’s terribly arbitrary of you to shout off numbers like that, don’t you think?
No because I’m just guesstimating based on data. If i was more imprecise it might be more accurate as a whole but less accurate in comparison to each other. If you want it in the traditional way for the three schools i know the most about I would have to say Chicago and Vanderbilt are more target while UCLA is more in the target-safe category.
@Nathanroon99 Not sure where you are guesstimating your data off but 70%+ for Low Reach/High Match schools like that are extremely off even with her EC’s. Her GPA and SAT for those schools are in the 25th-50th percentile. You can check the individual college sections and check their result threads to which you could gain more insight about their admissions and not just guesstimating
Full disclosure: I was really distracted when writing everything as I took a pause to watch part of the RNC and messed up her schools with different test scores and GPA. I would have deleted it but the sites (extremely bewildering) policy about not deleting posts prevents me from such.
@emily09098 I’m assuming you already know this, but UCSD and NYU are NCAA fencing schools. If you are good enough at fencing, you may be able to get coach support for your applications. Have you reached out to the coaches at these schools? You should also read this thread which has a huge amount of info about fencing recruiting and college fencing in general:

Just wanted to congratulate you on your great academic performance, hope you get into all!
@stencils oh wow thank you so much!!!
Just the University, not firmiliar with the Dental Program there.
All of them seem like low reaches, except UCSD, which is probably a match.
Perhaps you should apply to some of the easier UCs like Riverside etc. and maybe a state university or two as a cushion. No harm in being too safe!
Chance (roast) me back!
