Your EC’s are a little weak, though I personally don’t think that lacking in EC’s hurts you much in the admissions process. Your GPA and rank are going to count against you, but I would say that your ACT score is pretty strong-- if you have the choice to report one or the other, use your ACT and not your SAT. The D and C in Junior year may be a big stroke against you at some of these–especially a place like Tulane–but who knows? A 30 on the ACT shows that you know your stuff, and your course load is pretty rigorous.

Its really a tough call. As others have stated, there is going to be a lot of weight on the explanation. The ones I don’t think you have a good shot at are:

UNC Chapel Hill - Out of state is extremely competative and your GPA would need to be around a 3.80+ UW
Carnegie Mellon
NYU (stern)

To be brutally honest, I think you’re really pushing your luck on a lot of these. You probably don’t want to hear that but I think important its said but hey, I’m just some guys on the internet and you asked. Good luck with whatever you decide.

I had the same exact problem with it deleting on me!!! I almost cried when I realized nothing saved.

Your SAT CR is a bit low but your math and writing look solid, as well as your overall score.
Your GPA might be a bit low for some schools, but I know that a bunch of schools are flexible with GPA/SAT as long as your other stuff looks good. For instance, NYU is apparently known to admit someone with a lower GPA if the SAT makes up for it, and your SAT is at least 100 above their average (1890 I believe).
Your ACT is even better, I think.
Your EC’s are also a little weak, but some schools like NYU place less emphasis on them than a really great essay or good recs.

Carnegie Mellon, NYU and USC are probably reaches, but with very good essays and recs you have a shot. I’m not sure I know enough about the other schools to speak about them.
