Chance Me please with replies

I am a junior in HS.I have a 3.3-3.4 gpa. I took the ACT and my highest so far is a 26. Lately I got a D in AP US History. Will this one D hurt my chances to get admission at Loyola Chicago, UIC, U of I, Marquette?

I need Advice, what should i do with a D in AP US?

I’m also in APUSH, and I have a classmate with a D as well. You need to get the grade up; I know it’s difficult, but start reading/taking notes on the chapter. I’ve always considered myself to be pretty good at history, and I read/take notes/study for every test, and I still only have an 83.

Well i dropped out of AP US and now I have an A in regular US history. Do you think I can still get in the schools that I listed

As an APUSH student with a 98, i can tell you that it is a lot of work. The biggest thing that will get you an A is to READ, READ, READ that APUSH textbook. Take notes, on paper or sticky notes, for each section. If you do this, pay attention in class, and study you’ll get an A.
Also on your chances, i feel it depends on your other areas. One bad grade won’t stop you if you excel in other areas.

I read the textbook, but my teacher told me my reading is weak. My teacher is right. My reading has been weak since elementary school
