Applying to transfer to: University of Michigan Ann Arbor for fall 2012 (I'm a Michigan resident)
High school GPA: 3.79
College GPA: 3.975
ACT: 28 (32 English, 27 Math)
E.C.'s: Worked at pizza place for 3.5 years, currently work 5 days a week for a lawn company (the two jobs overlapped), volunteer at Genesys Hospice since February (I have about 50 hours), member of the Honors College at Oakland, Member of Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, member of the pre-med society at Oakland.
Major: Biology B.S. (pre-med)
Credits: 37 (Will have 62 at the time of transfer)
Year: Going into sophomore year</p>

<p>I’d say they are pretty likely, as transferring can be a bit easier than ugrad admission at some schools. You might want to retake the ACT (if they look at it for transfers and shoot for s 31+, as it is the weakest part of your app now)</p>

<p>Ya I know a lot of college kids tha have done that before transferring.</p>
<p>“If you did not take the ACT or SAT as a high school student, these scores will not be required as part of your transfer application to the University of Michigan and you should not sit for the exams as a college student.”</p>
<p>I’m guessing this means they don’t want a college ACT score? Do you think this also means that the ACT isn’t a big factor for the transfer app, seeing as how if you didn’t take it then you don’t have to submit a score?</p>
