Started my own private tutoring business- Founder- have 6 employees and a number of students.

Attended American Legion Jersey Boys State- a summer program on politics, i was elected to mayor and state senator and sponsered bills that went to the real governers desk. </p>

<p>I don't see you getting into MIT without any science/math EC's, awards, anything. However your chances for the rest are very good, at least one of Yale/Cornell/Brown/WUSTL</p>

<p>I think your score and GPA definitively make you competitive. The ec's are a bit unfocused though...membership to a club doesn't mean much to colleges. Make sure you're contributing a lot to the club/sport. Remember that the common app only has space for 7 activities so pick your favorite ones and focus on them a lot.
With that being said, write good essays and you will do really well in admissions.</p>
