(4)Accelerated Technology, opposed to the general Typing Course
10th-Full Block Schedule (4 courses each semester)
(1)Honors advanced algebra with trigonometry, ahead of the regular mathmatics curve by 1 year
(2)Honors German 2
(3)Honors Biology
(4)Honors German 3, Doubled up on German in the same year
(5)Honors Precalculus, Doubled up on Mathmatics in the same year, still well ahead of the regular mathmatics curve at my high school.
*5/8 courses are honors courses, ap classes not really offered for sophmores
11th-Modified Block Schedule (7 year long classes)
(1)German 4, no honors course available because students at my high school rarely take german to the 4th year. Considered to be a college level course.
(2)MSU College Algebra , College level course
*this was the year that the new high school opened up in our district. this meant that schedule mishaps were not uncommon. I tried to get into honors chemistry, but the classes were at more than there limit. Thus, i took alot of Normal Level Classes my Junior Year.

<p>I have been commenting on all of the chance threads and I’m really impressed with the prospectives. Not necessarily in terms of scores…you know your GPA could be more impressive…but in terms of their diversity and experiences. Your interest in German, athleticism, tough schedule, first gen status, and Midwestern origins really make you stand out as a candidate. And there’s another kid with a chance thread who’s fluent in three languages and went to school in Egypt! </p>

<p>Admissions is gonna have a lot of fun this year for sure.</p>

<p>Oh, and, my guess is you’re in. Your GPA is on the low side (er, why did you omit freshman year? Maryland will not omit freshman year grades so hopefully they don’t bring your avg. down) but CR+M is solid for Maryland, and you are an interesting character with a rigorous course schedule.
