Do I have any chance??

I really don’t like posting negatively on people’s chance threads; but, yes, the SAT is probably the next most important factor after your GPA/rigor of courses. However, don’t be discouraged. According to the Notre Dame magazine, “The category of minorities includes Asian Americans, who traditionally have not been plentiful among Notre Dame undergrads,” so being Asian may help you out in admissions. Also if you declare en engineering major or something math/sciency, they may place less emphasis on your CR score (not sure on this). The only way to know is to apply. Go for it.

P.S. I’m from Georgia, too, and have already applied to ND.

The SAT is important, and it’s probably true that your 1370 is a little low for an unhooked candidate at Notre Dame. But I haven’t seen anything that indicates that score is “below ND’s 25th percentile”.

The average student admitted for the class of 2013 was ranked in the top 4% of his or her graduating class. These students also scored well on Standardized Tests. For the class of 2013, the middle 50% of admitted students scored between 1390 and 1490 on the SAT and between 32 and 34 on the ACT. A quarter of the admitted group scored above those ranges and 25% scored below.
