thank u for ur time!!! =D

I think you have a reasonably good chance. Since WashU doesn’t have a supplement I’d suggest to try to show interest in the form of interviews, a high school/campus visit, or a talk with an admissions rep.

@kuricouscat: thank u! im also looking at the med program… do u know if its REALLY hard to get in?

I think you have a good shot.

@ awkwardturtle45: great! thank u! :)

You have a decent shot but not a great shot. A 33 is about an average ACT score here, so that places you alongside the rest of the applicants but not above them. You’re taking all AP classes this year, but the only test scores the admissions officers will see are your three unimpressive ones. Your unweighted GPA is not bad but again, not outstanding. Being a domestic Asian student doesn’t exactly help you, and Wash U receives a lot of applications from Texas.

I hate to be a downer, but I consider Duke and Wash U to be pretty similar in admissions standards. Since you were outright rejected and not even deferred from Duke ED, I’m not quite sure what to make of your chances at Wash U.

@RaVNzCRoFT: thank u for chancing me! i called Duke today to ask why i got a straight rejection, the answer was: my grades are not very impressive… i know Wash U is very competitive as well, i just wanted to give it a try~ and hopefully my courses and scores from this yr will convince them that i am a qualified applicant :)
