o and i forgot my SAT II Scores:
World History - 670
Math II - 720
Chem - 710

bump 10char

Score are pretty good, though there is a huge discrepancy b/n your CR and M (200 point difference). Subject test scores are okay.

Nice ECs! The internships & the Virtual Enterprise are good b/c they show leadership & initiative. School involvement is good.

At this point, I think you’re a better fit for CAS than COE b/c you don’t have really amazing ECs in the engineering field (aside from those internships). COE is very hard to get into (in fact, all engineering programs are lol), but try your best to get in, if you prefer that over CAS.

Nobody really knows who will/won’t get in on CC. I’ve read through many profiles of people who’ve gotten into different schools, and some people that I thought were below average actually got in while people who were really amazing got rejected (likely Tufts syndrome, but still). You never know until you try! Your app looks pretty good for Cornell :D

^A note of caution though… The ivies are a little wacko; they reject kids with 2400s. I’d recommend emphasizing your strong points like internships and tennis, piano, etc.

Otherwise, your score seem a good fit for Cornell!

Good luck! ^^

Yeah, that’s what Tufts Syndrome is. It’s rejecting kids with super high stats because the school thinks that they’ll just go elsewhere. It’s a way of protecting their student body.

Your CR SAT score may hurt you, but since you are going for engineering/arts and sciences that won’t matter as much as your math. SAT IIs could be higher (like mine), but your ECs are outstanding. If your essays are excellent, you have a good chance. Also, you asked me to judge for GT and UVA. I heard UVA is hard to get into for out-of-state kids, but you live in VA, so you should be in (I don’t live in VA, though, so idk how hard it is to get in for in-state kids), and you should be a shoe-in for GT.

Good luck :)

My combined score is 2190. My CR score from the one i took before is 650. cornell looks at superscore right?

Nope. Cornell requires “All Scores” (you can check this for yourself on their website or on CB’s Score Choice Policy pdf document). They don’t superscore, but you’re fine if there’s an upward trend, I think.

thanks!

bumppppppppppppppppppp

bump please! i will chance back!

bump!!!

bumppppppppp!!! i am in dire need of a chance and i will chance back…

Cornell wants all scores but that doesn’t mean they will not
super score. In fact I heard they do super score.
They don’t do score choice not super score.
No comment on your chance thread but I thought super score thing
would be helpful for you.
Good luck for both of us :)
