Probably a no. Your CR is waaay too low, and for a science-y applicant like yourself, your math score is also too low.

your SAT is a killer. I don’t see you getting in especially because you’re international with need.

Please keep in mind that none of us here sit behind desks in the Admissions Department.
Priya, your level of extra-curricular involvement is extremely strong – and I hope it dazzles your readers. I also hope that your essays tell your story clearly.

Good luck to you and all the other hard-working candidates starting a new year!

^ I love that response, and it’s very much in demand now that decisions for early round are coming… :frowning:
I’m too scared to see them AHHHHHHHHH!!!

Firstly, your GPA and Extra Curriculars are fantastic.

If your research was significant, and you sell yourself on your essays then you have a shot. However, it’s a sizeable reach (not hopelessly so, but I wouldn’t bank on it). Your SAT scores are (as you know) your weakest point.

To be honest (and this is not meant to be harsh, just realistic) you’d probably be best off to take it easy with your EC’s in the spring and maybe summer to seriously prep for the test. All the Extra Curriculars in the world won’t bump you in the admissions process the way upping your SAT score will. You bump your score 200-250 points and your chances look a ton better. Take tons of practice and (old) real tests, and your score will absolutely improve. You might also want to take a shot at the ACT.

^^ It looks like he already applied.

Dang, didn’t catch that. My mistake.
