SAT: 1830 (total) (this was my first time taking it and I didnt study)
ACT: 28 (Im hoping to bring it up 32) (this was my first time taking it and I didnt study)
GPA: 96.5 out of 100 (we dont do the 4.0 scale)
I am currently taking 2 AP classes (US History and Calculus AB) and 2 honors classes (Physics and English). Next year I plan to take at least two APs along with other honors classes.
I go to a very competitive high school
I am a yearbook photographer; I am a school ambassador; I am a member of the schools volunteer group.
I also work part time several days a week.
I was a member a member of NJHS in 9th and 10th (I was also the secretary/treasurer in 10th grade). I am also currently in NHS and plan to be next year as well.</p>
<p>I think you look like a great candidate - just work on the standardized tests. I’m sure they will appreciate your GPA and your EC’s. Working part-time is always impressive, as it shows initiative and responsibility. So much more impressive that expensive trips and programs…keep track of your volunteer hours and do some interesting things in that area, if possible.</p>
<p>Will you apply ED? If so, I can’t see any barriers to admission…</p>
