***Chance me please***

Hey everyone!

I want to become a Navy Physician, and I'm really committed to it. What "high-end" colleges do you think I have a shot at? I would really appreciate it!

Grade: Junior
GPA: 3.9W 3.7UW
ACT: 30
Class Rank: 10/452
Band: 1st chair Trumpet in all top bands. Many superior ratings at band festivals, 3-time All-District player, Marching band section leader, pep band. You know, the band works.

Sports: Varsity Cross-Country, Soccer, Football, and Track. Cross-Country and Track team captain. Regionals in XC and track.

300 community service hours.

I've taken many honors classes, and only 2 AP courses. Last year I took AP United States History and got a 4, and a B in the class. This year I'm in AP Lang, getting a high B/low A in the class. My school didn't offer AP bio this year. I'm getting all A's in Honors Algebra II, Honors Civics, Honors Chemistry, Spanish II, all bands, and AP lang. Next year I'll be taking AP Stats, pre-calc, AP Bio, AP chem, AP lit, band, and anatomy.

Overall, I'm a real nice guy. My GPA and ACT isn't incredible, but I'm really social and have a great personality. If you need more information to chance me better, please let me know. Where do you think I could get in? Thanks!

If you think I could get into Hopkins, any Ivy leagues at all, NYU, or Michigan, please let me know too!

Hmm, your ACT isn’t great, but considering your rank and GPA along with sports, i’d say you have a good shot at great public schools like UNC or some Cali schools. Just get great rec’s.

Ivy is unpredicatble-choose your favorites and hope! -Hopkins, NYU, and Michigan do have some strict requirements but you have a shot. I’d say they’re low reaches for you. Good luck on the process!
