The schools I've applied to are as follows, roughly in order of top choice to safeties:
University of California at Berkeley
University of Pennsylvania
Columbia University
Boston University
Stevens Institute of Technology
New York University
Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences (I was admitted here early action with $13,000 a year)

UCB - Match
Upenn - High Match - Low Reach
Columbia - Reach
BU - Match
idk Stevens Institute of Technology, sorry
NYU - Match
Mass. College - From what you said, your IN?

Thank you! I don’t know if I should have added these in the first post, but I also got 5s on the BC Calc, Chem, and English Language exams, and I’m taking AP Literature, Latin, Statistics, and Physics B this year.

Thanks, guys! My essays are pretty outstanding, as are my recommendations. The only thing that’s really killing me is no APs until Junior year… Oh, and I recalculated, and my UC GPA is actually 4.07!

University of California at Berkeley- low reach/ high match
University of Pennsylvania- low reach/ high match
Columbia University- low reach
Boston University- in
Stevens Institute of Technology- in
New York University- low match/in

You’re in everywhere except Columbia, Berkeley, and UPenn are slight reaches, but definitely possible. Youre GPA is good as are your SAT scores and you had a hard courseload, so I’d say everywhere else you have a 99.9% chance of getting in.

Agree with Alexis4 as Berkeley, Columbia, and Penn are in their own separate category. They can easily be matched but are low reaches at this point. You have a great GPA and SAT score is very solid so Boston University and New York University seem to be shoe-ins. Good luck!

I’d say a definite in for BU, Stevens, and NYU but I don’t know the other schools that well. I think you have a pretty good chance though - your stats are high!

~Founder/President of Gay-Straight Alliance- This is really interesting! I would def expand on this in a college essay or something. This def. sets you apart from the rest.
Your gpa is very strong and your sat score is amazing. I think you have a very good chance at the schools you listed (possibly 30-75% if not more…)

University of California at Berkeley - High match
University of Pennsylvania - Low reach
Columbia University - Reach (but Columbia’s a reach for everyone and you have great ECs)
Boston University - Match
Stevens Institute of Technology - I don’t know this one haha.
New York University - High match

I’d say you are on a pretty good level for all of those. You’re extracurriculars are very impressive, and your grades are right up there with them. Obviously Penn and Columbia are the diciest, but that is only because it doesn’t matter what your qualifications are, admissions to those can often be a crapshoot. Good luck!

Usually over a 2100 is a very good shot at the Ivies, so I’d say its a good possibility you’ll get into at least one of them. The rest of the schools, your SAT score is higher than the middle 50%, so I’d say you’re in.
