All Pre-AP and AP classes
AP Classes: 7 Total
~50-70 hours of community service; various places
Marching and concert band freshman and sophomore years
NHS junior and senior years
Recommendation Letters from AP Chemistry teacher
Would having a 5 on the AP Chemistry test help with acceptance?</p>

<p>sorry I never paid attention to those stats because I’m in state… Google is generally pretty good for a lot of info</p>

<p>Your academic stats fit well UMich’s 50% margin. If you’ve written good essays too, then I think you have a nice shot. Yes, the 5 on the AP will help.</p>

<p>Have you taken SAT Subject Tests?</p>

<p>this I do know, AP test scores are not taken into account for admissions. An admissions officer told me that last fall, they don’t even look at them until you are accepted. They do then only to assess transfer credits</p>

<p>The math is on the lower end for engineering, and I’m assuming that GPA is weighted because otherwise, that’d be a 4.0 and you’d be in the top 5%. I’d say it could go either way, especially this year when admissions seem to be completely unpredictable.</p>
