Chance Me Please!!!

I applied as a first year transfer student from very small, unrecognized school in Delaware. They accept almost everyone regardless of test scores and hs GPAs. Anyway, here are my first and second semester grades:

First Semester:
Math A
First Year B
English I B-
Intro to Psych C+
Intro to Economics C
GPA 2.89
Second Semester:
Accounting I A-
Principles of Management A-
English II A
College Math I A
Personal Computer Operations B+
GPA 3.73
Cumulative GPA 3.27

As you can see, I cleaned up my act the second semester. The first semester was just a fluke, I literally had all A's throughout every course except Psych but because I forgot that this is college and not high school..my grades suffered. I am a much better student than that. With that said, my test scores are beyond horrible. I got a 22 on the ACT and 1570 on SAT.
Will I make into IUB??! I really really want to go there. If I do get in do I even have the slightest chance at Kelly?

Anyone??!!

I think you’ll get into IU just fine, but as far as getting into Kelley it’s gonna depend on how you do during your first year at IU.

Your current grades will transfer to IU as credit, and your GPA will be erased and you’ll have a fresh slate. Take the Pre-Icore classes required for Kelley admissions (none of which are easy) during the first year (in addition to whatever else you take),and if you get all B’s or higher you will get into Kelley. If you get any grades of B- or lower (and really, just one will kill you), you probably will not.

^Thanks so much!
