<p>I'm a rising junior and I'm planning on applying to Tufts ED when the time comes. I just want to know if I'm on the right track for tufts. Are there any other colleges you guys would suggest for me? </p>

<p>3.7 uw gpa (will be a 3.8+ by the end of junior year hopefully)</p>

<p>Freshman year:
Magnet Bio
Magnet Chem
Pre-AP World Geography
Accelerated Math 2 (Algebra 2)
Culinary Arts
Honors 9th Lit
Spanish 2
Honors Spanish 3</p>

<p>Sophomore year:
AP World History
Magnet Physics
Magnet Biochemistry
Accelerated Math 3 (pre-Calc)
Honors Spanish 4
Honors Spanish 5
Engineering
Honors 10th Lit</p>

<p>Junior Year:
AP Chem
AP Calc AB & BC
AP Spanish
APUSH
AP Lang
Chemical Engineering (post-AP course)
P.E.</p>

<p>Summer Activites:
Freshman: family time
Sophomore: counselor at a camp for children with asthma, brown pre-college: computer sci/philosophy course, summit at local food bank, literature program at Mercer, volunteering, and studying for SATs</p>

<p>ECs: Math Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Interact club (vice president), Model UN (VP hopefully), Leadership club, Helping Hands, and Advisory board (Student gov thing).</p>

<p>Misc: African-American female from the south, middle class, and first-gen.</p>

<p>So, am I on the right track for Tufts? What other schools should I consider? Thanks in advance.</p>

<p>ED+URM+First Generation Student+Appropriate Stats=IN!(: But make sure you do reasonably well on the SAT (Even though being a URM will pretty much make the SAT all but trivial, still pour your all into it). I can get back to you with recommendations later, but I’m kinda tired right now, and my head’s not appeased by the Motrin I gave it earlier, so I really shouldn’t right now, but I WILL get back to you with school recommendations. </p>

<p>Depending on what your SAT scores will be it seems like Tufts shouldn’t be much of a reach at all. Your courses have been rigorous, ecs are good, and your diversity factor will definately help. Luck! :slight_smile:
