Chance me please

Your GPA and EC’s are impressive. You will most definitely get into Drexel and Villanova. Also, colleges take leadership positions greatly into account. The presidents of my school’s newspaper, debate, community service club, and orchestra are all going to top-tier schools.

I’ve added a more thorough breakdown of my GPAs by semester:
9: S1- 3.71 (3.79)
S2- 3.87 (3.94)

10: S1- 3.92 (4.46)
S2- 3.85 (4.37)

11: S1- 3.65 (4.29)
S2- 3.74 (4.40)

Cumulative: 3.79 (4.21)
Note: My school only sends weighted GPAs, not unweighted.

Also, what kind of chances do I have at George Washington, Georgetown, Syracuse, Fordham and American?

You will get into all of those but georgetown can go either way but you have a good shot.

Your school doesn’t just send weighted GPAs. The colleges recalculate it either way, so they’ll know what it really is. That being said, your unweighted GPA is a bit low.

Swarthmore in particular is extremely obsessed with scores and academic stats, so that will most likely be a no. My public school has 30+ Ivy acceptances a year and many more top tier acceptances (Standford, MIT, WUSTL, CMU, etc) but even we have only had one person get into Swarthmore this year for the first time in 5+ years, and more than 15-20 apply each year. One girl I know was debate captain with a 3.9something GPA and great stats in general who applied ED this year and didn’t get in.

Columbia is a high reach.
Georgetown is a mid/low reach.
Villanova is a high match/low reach.
UPenn is a very high reach.
Drexel is a high match/low reach
George Washington is a low reach/pretty high match.

Thanks for the help- I really appreciate it. I’m looking at some additional colleges now and was wondering if someone could please chance me- NYU, Tufts, Carnegie Mellon, Franklin & Marshall, American.
