Chance me please :)

<p>Hi guys I'm a white female from MA and am going to be a senior in the fall. I go to a small school in the suburbs of Boston, not sure if its that competitive but a few kids have gone to the Ivies in recent years, and some to BC,Tufts, UNC, Johns Hopkins, and other top schools.</p>

<p>Stats:
SAT I : 2150 (700CR, 720M, 730W (10)) can retake in fall
SAT IIs: have not taken yet, plan on taking math 2 spanish and us history
GPA: 4.36W, 3.85UW at end of sophomore year
Should be around 4.5W now, not sure what that is UW
Rank: 20/260 at end of sophomore year (expecting to go up a few places, should know exact place soon) </p>

<p>ECs:Including senior year in these
4 years varsity swim team(captain senior year)
Sectionals qualifier 3 years, voted MVP junior year
competitively swimming since 4th grade
4 years varsity lacrosse(captain senior year) started as a freshman, voted Most improved freshman year, MVP junior year
4 yeard Student Council ( will be co-president senior year)
4 years Student Government
Peer Mediator (professionally trained) 3 years
Selected by faculty to be one of two student on the Search Committee for a new principal Junior year (included. Going to interviews, site visits, application process) other people on comittee included two teachers, mayor, superintendent, assistant prinipal, some community members
National Honor Society- senior year, my school's chapter ony allows seniors and was very selective
250+ hours community service: blood drive volunteer, Down syndrome walk volunteer 3 years, various school events w/ student council, 100 hours camp counselor
Camp Counselor for summer going into Sophomore year</p>

<p>APs: APUSH junior year, AP Calc AB both junior year, nobody takes APs until junior year at my school, will have 5 by end of high school, AP physch, AP Calc BC, AP Spanish 5
Don't know scores yet, find out next month :) I'm guessing that I pass</p>

<p>I think you have a great shot. Now just show your passions through the essays and you should be pretty good for admission.</p>

<p>Ahhh thanks!! I know admission for OOS is a lot harder I also forgot I’m a lifeguard at my local YMCA for the past year and teach swim lessons every week, will most likely write essay on something to do w. swimming</p>

<p>Also phillay, I noticed you got into UNC as an OOS applicant and was wondering if you could fill me in on what your stats were? I love UNC and reallllllly want to get in</p>

<p>2330 SAT and 3.7 (uw).</p>

<p>For OOS your academic stats are cutting it close. However, your extracurriculars will more than make up for the stats. Overall, I would say you have a great shot.</p>
